    Arrival in Beirut

    A walk through downtown and Martyrs' Square, with an introduction to the city's layered history.

    Day 2

    History & Memory

    The National Museum and a conversation with a local journalist about how Lebanon's communities coexist.

    Day 3

    Beirut's Neighborhoods

    A wider look at the city's diverse districts and daily life across its many communities.

    Day 4

    The Bekaa Valley & Baalbek

    A scenic drive over the mountains to see the colossal Roman temples of Baalbek, among the largest in the world.

    Day 5

    The South Coast

    A visit to the historic port towns of Tyre and Sidon, two of the oldest continuously inhabited cities on Earth.

    Day 6

    Departure

    Return to Beirut. End of expedition.
