Day 1
A first drive through the surreal white-marble capital, including the Neutrality Monument.
Day 2
The Independence Monument, golden statues, and a Soviet-era bazaar, with your guide explaining how this remarkable city came to be.
Day 3
A drive into the desert to camp near the Darvaza gas crater.
Day 4
The burning Darvaza crater at night, followed by exploring the surrounding dunes and canyons.
Day 5
A drive to Mary and the ancient Silk Road ruins of Merv, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Day 6
Back to Ashgabat, with the chance to witness the atmosphere and ceremony of Independence Day if the dates align.
Day 7
Final stops in the city before flying out.
